Survival/Journey
George and his brother Beeper (I know it's a weird name) live in a town where there is a shortage of food. There's been a drought for as long as George can remember. A blaster hits after George's father goes to pick up some supplies. George must learn to take care of himself, and Beeper. There's a strange girl about. She can open securely locked doors with just her hands. There're wanderers too. They'll beat people up until the get what they want.
Over all I think it was a really good book. It was very descriptive. I always had a clear picture in my head. The only bad thing about this book is the ending. It seemed unfinished. I hope there's a sequal.
I rate it a 9/10
