OUR NIB’s TRIP
On Friday afternoon the NiBs group left on our epic endeavour for the Reading Bug (at 140 Colombo Street, Christchurch).
We gathered outside the library and made our way over to the van-although I went in Ms Hill’s car- we got in and drove on. We wanted to be the first ones there and Ms Hill’s team 'won' (mainly because I drive it every day Alice! Ms. Hill :)).
We got out and made our way over to where we waited until the others got there. I loved the Reading Bug - it had so many books to choose from. They also had awesome picture books where you had to poke and blow at some dots. It was hilarious.
I’d picked out about twenty books but got asked to most of them back (not a limitless budget sorry Alice! Ms. Hill :(). In the end I only bought two. Afterwards we all went over to the Cupcake Collection conveniently placed right next door and had a giant cupcake and hot chocolate :P yummy!!!
